To upgrade the well, or to drill a new one

Drilling a new well may be the best solution if your existing well is:

Well Pits

Well pits were commonly used to protect water line connections from freezing. However, due to age-related deterioration, some wells located in pits no longer provide potable water, as the pit can fill with surface water and debris. This debris and surface water may be drawn into the water supply, contaminating the water.


Wild Rose Water Wells Ltd. will thoroughly assess your well to determine whether it can be upgraded. This generally involves extending the well pipe to the required height above grade and then filling in the pit.
